Hi!  I’m Carol Cody and I got my start on the web by volunteering to build a web site for my state agency workgroup. It was 1996 when I hand-coded and published my first website, all 5 pages of it!

I was (and still am) working as a geographic information systems analyst, but I wasn’t able to resist working on websites and always had a few projects on the side.

My resume highlights include receiving a Masters in Science from the University of Florida and working at several state agencies, both as a GIS manager and web master.

In 2003 we moved to Austin, Texas and I started Carol Cody GIS Services.  The Web Solutions business came about a few years later when I was asked by two wonderful ladies to create and maintain several websites for the promotion of their book, Your Essential Whisper.  After a couple of false starts, I discovered Word Press and the rest, as they say, is history.

Currently I maintain two public sites and one membership site in support of this book…
